Vancouver production monster U-Tern (under the alias Oliver) lays down a disco/funk take on ‘Dayshift’ a new track from Detroit techno godfather Juan Atkins. The song is part of an EP comissioned by the people at Scion, and it’s available for free download right HERE.

I am not talking about getting crack rock with your pizza but punk rock (Stooges, Ramones) with your pizza. Thinking about last year’s release of the Personal & the Pizzas album, “Raw Pie”, and other singles like Liquor Store’s “Free Pizza”, it makes me wonder if Pizza Rock will come up. Obviously not but..

Last but not least is Travis Stewart a.k.a. Machine Drum, who has been focusing most of his time on Sepalcure, his project with Percussion Lab founder Praveen Sharma and I’m not mad at all. The duo just put out an incredible EP entitled Fleur on Hotflush and above is a Youtube of Your Love, just one of the amazing/dreamy tracks off the record. Enjoy.

The “Lucky You” thing was supposed to be a preview to this past Saturday’s Galapagos/LuckyMe showcase, but i might as well bang these out for the people that couldn’t get in. (HINT: Next time, come earlier You missed out big-time.)
